This is an extremely rare congenital deformity of the skull, nearly forgotten entity these days.Usually they are seen in neonates with Chiari type II malformations.The abnormality is composed of areas of thinning or pits within the bone.They typically occur on the inner surface of the skull, but have been seen on both the inner and outer aspects.Within each of the depression on the inner aspect of the skull, brain can be seen bulging into the bony defect.

Different from different theories, this patient is a 5 years boy who presented with episodic headache. His parents gives history of such depressions over the head since childhood.No trauma/Seizure.On examinations, there are multiple non pulsatile skull defects, No MMC,No Chiari. Intact neurology.Other systems within normal limits.
